We understand that our services do not address the needs of everyone. Therefore we do our best to provide you accurate and complete information and referral to other organizations or programs that may better serve you. This service is available to persons with disabilities, their families, caregiver, and any other individual, organization, or the general public.
Examples include but not limited to Products, Services, Equipment, Training, Legislation, Civil Rights, Referrals to other agencies, and more.
Our offices receive gently used equipment as donations and re-donate those items to those in need. If you are someone looking to donate an item or to receive a given device, please contact our AT specialist to schedule an appointment.
SVILC has a computer lab and free wi-fi in our offices for our consumers to use to conduct their housing search, check e-mails, job searches, and other tasks that may help further their independence. There are phones in the computer lap for consumers to use if they do not have their phone to conduct phone calls for services or to follow up on their appointments. We ask that each person be courteous to others using the computer lab by allowing others to use the computer in a timely fashion, keep the volume on computer low or use headphones, and to keep phone conversations low.
