The California Department of Aging (CDA) administers programs that serve older adults, adults with disabilities, family caregivers, and residents in long-term care facilities throughout the State. These services are provided locally by contracted agencies.
California’s Aging and Disability Resource Connections make it possible for individuals 60 and over and individuals of all ages with disabilities to live the way they wish in their communities. ADRCs also assist caregivers with aging and disability resources, so caregivers feel supported. ADRCs help individuals by providing a single system for all people to find information and access services and support in keeping with the “no wrong door” policy.
