The Silicon Valley Independent Living Center (SVILC) is a private, consumer-driven, nonprofit corporation that offers quality services to individuals with disabilities in Silicon Valley.

SVILC is unique in that it is the only Independent Living Center in Santa Clara County. It is also the only organization in the area that provides comprehensive services for people with all types of disabilities. SVILC consumers have physical, mental/emotional, cognitive, visual, and hearing disabilities. The organization serves nearly 1,000 people each year.

SVILC strives to eliminate attitudinal, physical, and communication barriers faced by people with disabilities as they work towards independence and full integration in their communities. The programs and services available at SVILC meet a variety of independent living needs. In addition, SVILC offers classes, workshops, support groups, and recreational activities.

SVILC's multiple services are easily accessible at locations in both San Jose & Gilroy.
